Former U.S. Attorney for North Dakota Tim Purdon was a guest on the “Mike McFeely Show” on 970 WDAY Tuesday and explained the FBI raid on President Donald Trump’s lawyer in very easy-to-understand terms — including an explanation about whether the raid was an attack on attorney-client privilege.
Near the end of the interview, Purdon explains that despite media reports suggesting otherwise, the president does not have the power to fire special counsel Bob Mueller. There is a process in place that would allow it, but Trump cannot do it by himself.
